Hubbell Construction Services (HCS), and their associates, took home two awards from this week's Master Builder of Iowa Winter Conference and Award Ceremony.
s received the renowned Masters Award ($0-$15 Million Category) for their work at On With Life's Long Term Care community in Polk City. This one-of-a-kind $7 million facility serves individuals who have experienced a brain injury (including traumatic brain injury, stroke, tumor, aneurysm or anoxia, or other neurological disorder) and who require long-term care related to the complexity of their medical and life-long care needs.
HCS was the general contractor on the project, which began in 2023 and opened in 2024. The facility has 40 licensed beds, with 20 private rooms and 10 double rooms for facilitated living spaces.
Hubbell Realty Co., HCS parent company, also supported On With Life in 2024 as a recipient of the Hubbell Extreme Build – Homes of Hope, a 5-day event where over 100 trade partners built two 3,500 square feet Family Homes at On With Life’s Ankeny Campus.
Additionally, Nate Belcher, Assistant Project Manager with HCS was awarded the MBI’s “Master Builder Designation,” recognizing his completion of 150 credit hours of training in the areas of Leadership, Project Management, Ecological, Ethics and Safety. Belcher also graduated from the “MB Eye on the Future” leadership program during the event.
Casey Port, Vice President of HCS, was also elected to the Master Builders of Iowa Board of Directors.
