With Centennial Park to the north, public safety to the west and sitting kitty-corner from Waukee High School, one of Waukee's newest developments is rising from the ground on some of the city's prime real estate.
Centennial Crossing, a $25 million undertaking by Hubbell Realty off Southeast LA Grant Parkway, is a new concept by the company. Construction started on the rental home community about a year ago, and will eventually consist of 129 units when the development is completed early next year.
The units will range from a two- or three-bedroom ranch-style home to a three-bedroom, two-story townhouse. Each comes with appliances, including a washer and dryer, and an attached two-car garage.
